Tai Chi Sunset - Santa Cruz, California , one of my favourite places on the planet, and as my dear local friend Sammy Shine would say, your second home.. I do love the natural beauty here, and it was during one of my longer visits that I was so blessed to walk into this scene.. it's like a photographers dream, especially one who loves sunsets, and has a deep love and 25 year Chi-Kung practice, which is very connected to Tai Chi. It was as if all the elements of Creation had come into sweet harmony and alignment for me, as I saw this scene presenting itself a few hundred metres away, from along the path that I was walking.. I could see that if I carried on walking with a good pace, and came around to the opposite side of the Cliff edge, I would get to see these wonderful sight of a magnificent natural landscape, alongside with this beautifully set scene of several Tai Chi artists, practicing their sweet and gentle, meditative art, at one and in harmony with nature, the elements and creation, and all within this stunning orange golden light contrast to their beautiful silhouetted figures. This image is a favourite for many reasons, as so many of my images are.. The Peace, Tranquility and Serenity of the scene is exquisite.. Enjoy!
